Privacy Policy
What data does mytile collect?
None. mytile has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, and no tracking. There are no cookies.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Cloud sync is enabled by default but is fully opt-in — you can disable it at any time in Settings. When active, an end-to-end encrypted copy of your data is stored in a Cloudflare KV database. The encryption is zero-knowledge: only you can decrypt it with your sync code. We cannot read your data.
Third-party services
mytile calls third-party APIs directly from your browser to display live data. These services may receive your IP address as part of normal browser requests:
Open-Meteo (weather), CoinGecko (crypto), Eurostat & ECB (economic data), ESPN (sports), and others listed in the Data Sources overlay.
CORS proxy
Some API requests are routed through a lightweight proxy at proxy.mytile.app to add CORS headers. The proxy does not store, log, or inspect any data — it passes requests through to the target service and returns the response.
Your rights
Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you have full control. You can export your data, delete it at any time via Settings > Reset all data, or simply clear your browser storage.
